Canadian Men at the Olympics are on CBC and TSN!

The hockey events are underway in Beijing with one day of matches completed on both the men’s and the women’s sides of the tournament. Canada fell to #1-ranked Australia 6-1 in their first pool match but on the positive side, the entire match was broadcast live by CBC and in high definition! To find out when all the matches will be broadcast, either on the CBC network or on their website, just go to the CBCSports.ca full Olympic schedule page, select your location to get the right time zone and filter the schedule to show only field hockey.

CBC will broadcast Canada’s next match against Pakistan on CBCSports.ca and on CBC live starting at 3:49 a.m. Calgary time on Wed. Aug. 13. TSN is going to carry tape-delay coverage the CAN v NED game on their TV network on Friday and CAN v GBR on Saturday, in addition to those matches being live on CBCSports.ca. Just check the TSN schedule for more details.

The coverage of the men’s team has been terrific thus far - it’s important that we reward these broadcasters with our viewership and prove that there’s more than one kind of hockey in our country that we love to play!

To get the best coverage of all the Olympic field hockey action, go to WorldHockey’s Olympic website.
